The Black Dog Beer House, in Brentford is the latest branch pub to start serving real draught cider from hand-pumps.
Branch Area Update - The area covered by the Richmond & Hounslow branch has been expanded to now include the entire Hounslow and Richmond-upon-Thames boroughs. It became effective from October 1st 2017.
The CAMRA's National Beer Scoring System (NBSS) has been upgraded and is now fully integrated into the CAMRA website, making finding a pub and scoring your beers much easier. Beer scoring is only available to CAMRA members. To start scoring please visit the pub listings section on the CAMRA web site - camra.org.uk/pubs/, enter the name of the pub then search/select it and follow the beer score link.
NB. Whatpub.com is being discontinued and merged into the CAMRA website. Beer scoring our branch area pubs enables us to better decide which pubs get selected into the next issue of the Good Beer Guide.
The Good Beer Guide & PotY selection process used by the Branch has followed a process that has not been formally defined on paper until now. This document aims to correct this with recommendations and advice to help make the work of the Branch Committee in finalising a candidate list of pubs in a timely manner to meet the CAMRA Pubs Selection Schedule issued each year by CAMRA HQ.
There will not be a festival this year.
