Pub opening times have become much more flexible under the new licensing law that came into effect in November 2005 and can now vary from pub to pub. Although many pubs have not changed their opening times many have, especially at weekends.
The previous standardised licensing hours will disappear. Pub Landlords will be able to apply to have the hours they prefer. If there are no objections to the request to vary the existing licence, the Council will have to allow the variations subject to any conditions required to comply with the Government's four licensing objectives, which are:
To offer a complete opening times guide on all our 250+ pubs in the area would not be practical or relevant for this site to maintain. however, we will publish intended opening times for the most popular 'real ale' pubs when they are known. This information will be added under the Branch Pubs pictures.
